Accomplishments

• Developed new Air Medical Regulations that were adopted by the State EMS Council.
• Developed a research information packet to aid prospective candidates.
• Co-sponsored NAACS Class.
• Created a membership database.
• Monitored the Kentucky Legislature for bills pertaining to EMS.
• Created displays and PR material for distribution.

Mission Statement

As a state chapter of the Association for Air Medical Services, it is the responsibility of this chapter to follow the guidelines as set forth by the National Association. A major goal of the Kentucky Chapter is to foster communication, cooperation, and coordination of safe air medical operations in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

The Kentucky Chapter of the Association for Air Medical Services will support and coordinate both educational and research activities relating to its membership. It will act as a resource in the exchange of information among associations representing the air medical industry and other interested parties. The Association will represent its members' interest in activities which may impact on the overall provision of air medical services.
