Minutes were posted on the website and distributed at the meeting.  No discussion / corrections noted.

 

Treasurer’s Report

Walter reviews the motion he made during the last meeting.  Walt also notes that he is reviewing the savings and checking accounts on line, but the on line version is just showing one account.  When he calls the bank, they are showing two accounts.  Walt continues to work with the bank on this issue. 

 

Walt also needs a t - shirt invoice from Lisa Nicholls.  The initial cost of the shirts was $1757.22 plus $100 withdrawn for change at the EMS Conference.  Walt states KY AAMS made $1483.00 at the conference.   

 

The financial report is as follows:  Checking account shows a current balance of $1671.61 with total deposits of $1583.00.  Expenditures totaled $74.17.  The savings account shows a current balance of $7701.51.  Interest activity was $2.78 with an expenditure of $100.00.  The total funds available are $9373.12. 

 

Memorial Wings

There was a discussion regarding the Memorial Wings.  Members reviewed the history of the Wings to President Maan.  The administrator of the Wings (Cathy Spry) was not present, so Jason would like to meet with Cathy and discuss the e-mail she sent to Beverly (copy on file) regarding the Wings.  Beverly will e-mail Cathy about contacting Jason to set up a meeting.  (E-mail sent on 11/27)

All meetings, except for September, will be held at Nelson County EMS in Bardstown, Kentucky.  Committees will continue to meet at 1800 (Eastern) and the Board of Directors / General Membership meeting will convene at 1900.

 

Bylaws / Officers

Beverly reminds the members that the fiscal year of KY AAMS is from January 1st to December 31st with officer elections held during the January 23rd meeting.  The Board will need to elect a Vice President and a new Secretary.  Beverly notes she will be stepping down as AAMS secretary and STATCARE’s secondary representative. 

 

No other business or discussion noted.
