2008 office
nominations |
Need to be presented
at the November meeting. Nominations are being accepted for the
position of vice president. Each air medical service needs to
have two dedicated members attending each meeting. |

Discussion ensued
regarding the CJ/Air Methods acquisition with regards to Ky.
AAMS fees. Called to vote in regards to changing the fee
amounts due to the decrease in the number of programs.

Air Medical Task
force update |
Sherman Hockenberry
– They are at the regulation process. Twenty primary issues
were identified which were broken down into 4 subgroups. 12/18
meeting regarding new helicopter regulations. |

Night Vision goggles
advisory opinion |
Plans are in place
for all programs to have availability of night vision goggles
but the issue has been availability. Public comment continued
regarding a timeline related to the availability though everyone
agreed that it would be a safety enhancement. |
