Minutes

Minutes were posted on the website and distributed at the meeting.  No discussion / corrections noted.  All members approve the minutes.

 

Treasurer’s Report

Walter reviews the financial report.  The checking account had a previous balance of $1671.61 with a deposit of $101.00 and no expenditures.  The current balance is $1772.61.  The savings account had a beginning balance of $7701.51 with $2.88 in interest paid and no expenditures.  The current savings balance is $7704.39.  Total funds available are $9477.00.  Walt also states the financial book is open for review.

 

Walt notes when at home, he can only review the checking account, but at Fifth Third bank, they have no trouble viewing both accounts.  Walt will follow up this week and try to get this problem solved.  Also, Walt notes that we need to file an Article of Incorporation with the state very soon.  The paperwork must list all representatives and the Executive Officers.  If your service has a change in either representative, please let Walt know as soon as possible so the paperwork can be filed.

Jason was not present to provide any follow up with Cathy regarding this issue.

 

New Business

 

Beverly yields the floor to Lisa for discussion of the t – shirts.  Lisa notes that we have 123 shirts left.  Discussion on the proposed on line order form draft.  Also discussed how much we should sell the shirts for.  It was determined that all sizes will sell for $10.00 with $4.00 (?) for shipping / handling.  At this price, and if the rest of the shirts are sold, KY AAMS will receive a profit. 

 

Lisa will call John Hultgren to discuss a banner on The EMS Connection with a link to the KY AAMS website so folks can order shirts (or instead of a banner ad, possibly a small news story with a link off of that).  LifeNet and Air Evac will also place information on each of their employee sites to help sell the shirts.
