Old Business

Beverly notes she has not had any contact from Randy Wiggers concerning the safety / LZ letter he submitted at the September meeting. Jason states he will make a follow up call.

Walt states he brought up the safety letter to the attention of the STATCARE safety committee, and all liked the idea of the standardized statewide frequency.

Jason notes the U of K pad is now opened.

Discussion regarding the use of the air to air frequency. The frequency is there for everyone’s safety. Please use it! It is suggested that the pilots make a call 10 miles out from a scene and on final.

New Business

Would like to have another pilots meeting at the first of the year. Month and location will be determined soon.

Jason notes that education is still the key to being safe. Discussed possible classes, forums at the KY EMS Conference and Expo. Also discussed a possible NAACS course at the EMS conference.

No other business or discussion.
